Senior Class Gift

It’s never too early to leave a legacy.

The Senior Class Gift is a fundraising campaign led by a senior class committee and the Lipscomb University Annual Fund to create a major gift in your class’s name. Seniors are encouraged to give during their senior year and are educated on the institution’s needs and the importance of their continued annual support. It’s a great way to give back to Lipscomb and to make a difference in the lives of all the students who will come after you. The gifts from generous LU alumni and friends allowed the same for YOUR wonderful years at Lipscomb University!

What does the Senior Class Gift support?

The Senior Class Gift this year will be the Randall Bryant Hardison Endowed Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to a rising senior with a financial need. Known to most of us as “Bryant”, Randall was a Psychology major from Shelbyville, TN. His goal was to counsel young people that came from broken families and homes. He had a passion for fighting injustices and embracing equality for mankind. Bryant died tragically in an automobile accident on April 25, 2009. The Senior Class has established this fund in his memory since he would have been a graduate of the Class of 2010. The goal of the class is to have 100% participation.

How much do I have to give?

There is no gift minimum to participate in the Senior Class Gift. The goal is not to raise a specific dollar amount, but to have everyone join together in leaving a class legacy at Lipscomb University.

Everyone that contributes to the Senior Class Gift will receive a specially created Lipscomb engraved pen inside of a Lipscomb pen box. However, if any member of the Class of 2010 donate $150 or more by April 30, 2010, they will become University Leadership Council (ULC) Ambassadors for 2010 and will receive all of the benefits of ULC membership!
